LEAGUE TEAMS
Banbury Bulldogs plays in the BIPHA Midlands puck league based in Lutterworth. We submit as many teams as we can in as many age groups as possible to keep the teams playing as often as possible.

A Banbury Bulldogs team plays around 30 league games a season.

The whole idea of the U12s team is to introduce all the players to competitive hockey in a safe, positive and nurturing environment.

MESSAGE FROM THE MANAGER: Robin Hambidge

We aim to support the children in developing their social and hockey-related skills whilst functioning within a team environment.

All our training sessions and games are based on 3 principles:

Positive encouragement
Working hard
Most importantly, having fun

We focus on the values of:

Having respect for yourself, your teammates and everyone involved in the club. Including coaches, the committee, match officials, opposition and the parents who enable the children to participate.

Friendship
Self-worth
Trust
Working together
Understanding

We use as many varied techniques and approaches that we can conceive and are always looking to improve.

IF THE KIDS ARE NOT HAVING FUN, WE ARE NOT COACHING THEM CORRECTLY!
